Local Services Are Surprisingly Good.
Javea
has its own hospital to provide for most basic requirements, accidents
and treatment. However, there are also three other hospitals of note in
the region. Javea's hospital is located opposite the Plaza de la
Constitution, the main market square on Thursdays and site of Javea's
police station. If you or someone in your party requires emergency
treatment, then you can access the main emergency unit during working
hours, or call the ambulance outside of these hours
Other Hospitals
Depending on the type of surgery required or illness to be treated,
just as in the UK, hospitals in Spain offer a mixture of general and
specialist services.
